Another Hamstring Injury And Julio Jones Is Hurt
September 14th, 2022

“Gettin’ old sucks, Julio.”
The first official injury report of the week has been released at One Buc Palace, also known as One Hamstring Place.
Now it’s Leonard “Lombardi Lenny” Fournette landing on the injured list with a hamstring issue. He was “limited” in practice today. Receivers Russell Gage and Chris Godwin missed practice entirely with bad hamstrings, as did rookie cornerback Zyon McCollum.
Mike Evans is nursing a calf issue and was limited. And throw two more receivers into the medical mix, with Julio Jones out of practice with a new knee injury and Breshad Perriman limited with a knee.
Donovan Smith, as expected, was out with his bad elbow.
Joe is freakin’ dizzy seeing all these new names on the injury report. The Julio knee issue really popped Joe’s happy balloon.
On the slimy Saints front, Sunday’s Bucs opponent, quarterback Jameis Winston was limited with a back injury. Saints backup Andy Dalton was warming up Sunday in Atlanta to replace Jameis but Jameis stayed in the game after trainers worked with him.
